I am a multilingual journalist with years of experience as a presenter, moderator, facilitator, coach and mentor. I'm currently a TV presenter for WDR aktuell, a news program of the German public broadcaster WDR. I'm also the host of the TV shows Focus on Europe and The 77% at Deutsche Welle, Germany's international broadcaster. On top of that, I've been the moderator of numerous events, among others at the UN Climate Conference, TEDxBonn, film premieres, galas, award ceremonies and various panel discussions.

I'm also the ambassador of TanZanEye.

Public speaking is one of my greatest passions. I believe in the power of delivering strong, clear messages; of telling great, captivating stories. My mission is to use my communication skills to facilitate the transfer of knowledge and to enable the exchange of ideas.  As a professional who has lived on two continents, I especially see my role as a moderator who can build communication bridges across cultures, countries and continents. 
It's what I do and what I want to enable others to do - whether it's on a big stage, on camera or in one-on-one conversations. 

1,500 journalists from across the world got together to discuss the motto "Sharing Solutions". Among others, I interviewed German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock and Nobel Peace Prize laureate Maria Ressa.

Hosting this event was truly special since it was a great space for capacity building for young African students in Germany. They shared their ideas about how education systems on the continent can be improved and how they can be changemakers in various sectors even while they are still studying. 

In conversation with philosopher Kwame Anthony Appiah and Poet Lubi Bare about what made them who they are, how we should think about dynamic identities and how their background has shaped their work.

As the ambassador of the NGO 'TanZanEye', I get the opportunity to communicate about global health and to find ways to make development cooperation between Germany and Tanzania sustainable. TanZanEye's goal is to help combat avoidable blindness in western Tanzania
